Michele Hratko

Michele designs brands, experiences, and products that connect people. She’s driven by stories, data, and strategy to craft delightful visual narratives.

Originally from California, I am currently studying communications design and human computer interaction at Carnegie Mellon University. I love creating and designing experiences where people can connect whether that’s across print, digital, spatial interactions or a mix of them all.

EXPERIENCE-  Creative directing Pittsburgh’s largest fashion show, Lunar Gala
-  Organizing free concerts for students with the CMU Activities Board
-  Previously designing exhibits and experiences at Deeplocal
-  Previously designing a music festival identity & merchandise at Music@Menlo

SKILLSETS-  Brand identity systems, data visualization, UI/UX, user research, motion, illustration, exhibit design, creative direction, strategy, concepting
-  Most recent explorations: letterpress printing and teaching myself how to code generative type

SIDE QUESTS-  Exploring rivers to swim in, baking cranberry scones, discovering new music, teaching myself a new craft (currently crocheting), dreaming about my next hiking trip, trying out all the Pittsburgh bakeries (ask me for my recommendations)

Currently seeking internship opportunities for Summer 2026.
